My name is Erica Fernandes and I am the founder & CEO of Language Leaders. I was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal but moved to the UK at 12 years old. I am currently fluent in 3 languages: Portuguese, Spanish and English. Personally, I believe that language learning is a gateway to a whole new world. I have always had a passion for learning new languages and learning new cultures. I am a very big traveller and seeing how happy people get when someone takes the time to learn their language is very heartwarming. I have been tutoring for many years and discovered early on how enjoyable it is to see people's progress when they are learning something new - it truly makes me feel like I am making a difference.

Language Leaders was funded by Érica Fernandes in 2024. As mentioned in the 'About me' section, her passion for languages is what motivated her to start this company. Our tutors are carefully selected and have years of experience in teaching these languages and we are committed to providing the best learning experience to our students.
We believe that learning a new language should be fun and interactive. That's why we use innovative teaching methods to make our classes engaging and enjoyable. Our mission is to help students become fluent and confident in another language while fostering a love of learning.
For the time being we only offer Spanish and Portuguese tutoring but if you are a tutor looking to teach other languages we would be more than happy to add a new language.
